We will then perform any necessary alterations and sculpt all anatomical features needed to complete the form. This will ensure a proper fit and add to the anatomical accuracy of the mount.
The next step is to install the most lifelike, high quality glass eyes available. We then sculpt-in the desired expression to the eye lids by using a clay-like substance. This material can be formed, molded and fine tuned in order to capture every detail.
Once the form is completely prepped, and the eyes are set, a high quality hide paste is applied. The paste allows the skin to be taxied onto the form according to natural hair patterns and anatomical features.
After being fitted to the form, the hide paste holds the hide in place as the mount dries.
This ensures that the skin will not shift and will retain the fine details that were painstakingly recreated in the sculpting process.
